NIGHTMARE...12 Years in Terror..Year Of Devilish

1997- The band was arised and started to play a pure occult black metal.Formely the band was known as SYAITIR, with the original line-up Asxul Laqis Silbi(guitar), Sur'Black Azazil and A.R. Kid Zulmaut Ali (Bass/Vocal).The band immediately had recorded one reharsal tape consist of 2 track like 'seniman Tempur' and 'Petaka Syaitir', but unfortunately they did not spread the material due to bad quality recording.


1997- The band was arised, hailing from Ranau, Sabah and started to play a pure occult Black Metal. Formerly known as SYAITIR, with the line-up were Asxul Laqis Silbi (guitar), Sur’Black Azazil (guitar), Ritiays Bakry Sombrono (drums) and A.R.Kid Zul’Maut Ali (bass & vocals). The band immediately had recorded one rehearsal tape consists of 2-tracks like “Seniman Tempur” and “Petaka Syaitir”, but unfortunately they didn’t spread the material due to some of bad quality sound.

1998- It was hard to accept the truth when just only one year existence and the band was black out in March. So the cult dreams with SYAITIR seemed to be broken. Then the band was silence but after several months later, three members come to unite again and agreed to re-evoke the band’s cult spirits. They also decided to change the old-name to a new one namely NIGHTMARE and started to play Symphonic Black Metal. The current positions are changed too, so the line up are A.R.Kid Zul’Maut Ali on guitars/vocals, Sur’Black Azazil on bass and Asxul Laqis Silbi on drums.

1999- The band begin to practice their songs and more active than before. At the first time ever they have played in an open rehearsal studio live performance (live jamming) and the rehearsal room are loaded with all their followers and supporters coming from their own hometown and that a live jamming was officially organized by their ex-former drummer – Ritiays Bakry Sombrono (thanx bro for making that possible!). By that reaction then the band has decided to make a promotional tape entitled “Symphony From The Gates Of Darkness” containing 4-tracks into a symphonic journey, necrowicked metal, blasphemous attack and sorrowful. The songs tracks such as “Sordid Blood Of / Which One Should To Follow?”, “Birth Of The Dickens Parts”, “Dream Is Reality” and “End Of Days” got an amazing supports and the feedbacks were very good especially from their local scenes like ‘zines, bands and metal’head but also several other from the foreign metallers! More than 500 copies was spreaded totally.
